Some of the earliest flowers that bloom in the spring are the hardest to find. Their life cycle is short and sweet - like spring itself. Today, naturalist Kathy Miner takes Anne Strainchamps on a walk through the UW Arboretum, looking for some of the most delicate species of native wildflowers.

Naturalist Kathy Miner keeps an eye on native species from her home in Madison.
